The SDIP complements various initiatives and fora aiming at global development. It contributes to and benefits from a collaborative environment.

 

WEF   1. Long-Term Investing, Infrastructure and Development, World Economic Forum

The Global Challenge Initiative on Long-Term Investing, Infrastructure and Development aims to enable a strategic dialogue that allows policy-makers to express their long-term vision for infrastructure and development, the benefits this would bring to society, and how to share those fairly with investors.

 

G20 OECD   2. G20-OECD High-level Principles of Long-term Investment Financing by Institutional Investors, OECD

The high-level principles intend to support governments facilitate and promote long-term investment by institutional investors, particularly among institutions such as pension funds, insurers and sovereign wealth funds that typically have long duration liabilities and consequently can consider investments over a long period.

 

OECD   3. Green Growth and Sustainable Development Forum

The Green Growth and Sustainable Development Forum (GGSD Forum) is an OECD initiative that enables a multi-disciplinary dialogue on green growth and sustainable development. It brings together experts from different policy fields and disciplines working in these areas.

 

Convergence   4. Convergence

Convergence is a virtual platform that facilitates blended finance by listing investment opportunities from credible investors and financiers and providing the tools and resources to streamline the transaction process, increase investment returns, and reduce operational risks.

 

Global Hub   5. Global Infrastructure Hub

The Global infrastructure Hub aims to increase global investment in infrastructure. The Group of 20 committed to establishing the hub in order to build links between private sector investment and public infrastructure projects.

 

 SDIP WB   6. Global Infrastructure Facility

The Global Infrastructure Facility is a global open platform that facilitates the preparation and structuring of complex infrastructure public-private partnerships to enable mobilization of private sector and institutional investor capital. The Facility is initiated and backed by the World Bank Group.
